In our restaurant in Pakkhuset, located by the old steamboat pier, we serve an à la carte menu and host events. We serve fish and meat, all made with local ingredients. You haven’t truly visited Skjerjehamn without trying Skjerjehamn’s very own fish soup! Concerts and other events are also held here. Welcome to Skjerjehamn’s own grand hall!

At Skjerjehamn, we are passionate about local and authentic experiences. As part of the Firda Seafood family, we have unique access to some of the world’s finest trout, which is the cornerstone of our menu.


Our famous smoked trout: This is a must-try experience. Smoked in the traditional way with our own secret recipe, it has become a signature dish that guests travel from afar to taste.
Seasonal ingredients: Our menu evolves with the seasons. We draw inspiration from the coast, the forest, and what the local farms in Gulen have to offer at any given time.

The atmosphere in the restaurant

Our interior reflects the surroundings; it is bright, maritime, and informal. There is room for both hikers in all-weather jackets and party-goers in their finest attire. After dinner, many guests head out onto the pier to enjoy the sunset.
