RIB-boat excursions to the islands and fish farming facility.
Guided tour to see the sights in the surrounding islands and visit a fish farm onboard the RIB-boat Firda Explorer.
Daily trips during the summer months, price: 399kr per person, seats up to 12. To book, simply pop in to the kiosk or ring us.
Tours to the fish farm in an enclosed vessel can be arranged during winter months. All excursions are weather permitting all year.
Blue Garden
The Blue Garden is a live outdoor exhibition about aquaculture. Through a range of practical installations, you can find out all about modern farming of salmon and trout, its importance to Norway today, and in the future. The exhibition covers a 300 metre long pathway. Signposts are in English. Brochures in other languages available at the kiosk.
There are many other artworks and sculptures for you to see.
Vestefjellet
A walk up the 160 metre high Vestefjell mountain is the perfect start to your day, or an afternoon hike to make your day even better. The walk is light, with just some uneven scrub and heather to navigate. Since it’s situated so far west, you don’t need to move mountains to enjoy a spectacular view of the open sea.
